The fastest growing racket sport in the world, and one of the easiest to pick up. It is low-impact, played almost entirely in doubles, and it fits on the tennis courts we already run. We offer it alongside tennis at selected venues.

Part tennis, part badminton, part table tennis. Here is what you need to know before your first game.
Four players, one small court, lots of short rallies. Singles exists, but doubles is what almost everyone plays and it is the reason the game is so sociable.
13.4m by 6.1m with a slightly lowered net. It fits comfortably inside a tennis court, which is why our venues can run both on the same courts.
A solid paddle, no strings, and a light perforated ball. It travels far slower than a tennis ball, so points last longer and beginners get going quickly.
Serves go underarm and diagonally, struck below the waist. There is no second serve and no big serving advantage, which keeps games close.
A seven-foot zone either side of the net that you cannot volley from. It stops the net rush and turns the game into a battle of touch rather than power.
Games go to 11 points and you must win by two. In the traditional format only the serving side can score, so a game moves quickly but is rarely over early.

Where to play
Tennis is our focus, but where a venue has the courts and the demand we run pickleball alongside it. Our venue finder tags every site that offers it, so the quickest way to find your nearest is to search and look for the tag.
Search our venues and look for the pickleball tag, or get in touch and we will point you to the right session.
