Padel questions

Something else on your mind? Get in touch and we will happily talk it through.

What is padel?
A fast, sociable racket sport played in doubles on a smaller court with glass walls. Our What is padel guide explains the court, the rules and how it compares with tennis.
Do I need my own racket?
No. You can hire rackets at Eaton Park for £3 each per game, and buy balls at the venue.
Do I need to be a member?
No, you can pay and play by booking on Playtomic. Eaton Park Padel also has its own membership, separate from Norwich Parks Tennis, so check its website for the latest options.
I play tennis. Will I pick it up quickly?
Usually, yes. The scoring is the same as tennis and the strokes feel familiar. The walls take a little getting used to, which is where an intro session helps.
