What to expect on the day

Arrive early, sign in with the referee and warm up. Matches are usually self-umpired, so you call the lines on your side of the net.

Bring at least two rackets, water and snacks
Know the scoring format before you start
Be ready to play when your match is called

Am I good enough to compete?
If you can serve and rally, there is an event for you. Open events and lower-grade LTA competitions are designed for newer players.
How much does it cost to enter?
Entry fees vary by event and grade and are shown when you enter.
Which events suit juniors?
Juniors play events for their LTA Youth colour stage, from red and orange through to green and yellow. Your coach can recommend the right starting point.
Can parents watch junior matches?
Yes, spectators are welcome. Please follow the venue's guidance and the LTA code of conduct.
