By creating an account and booking coaching through our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which cover all coaching activities. By agreeing to this policy you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
1. Group Coaching
- Group coaching classes are offered initially as a free trial, after which coaching is accessed via a monthly Coaching Plan subscription. In some cases, group coaching classes may also be available as pay and play drop-in sessions or via a class pack.
- Free trials and promotional offers are available from time to time and may be added or removed at any time without notice. The available booking options for each class will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- All player registrations and payments must be made online. Parental consent information is required for all junior programmes.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to a group coaching class if a player is not of the required age or ability — in such circumstances we will advise on the most appropriate class.
- All players will be grouped according to their standard of play. We cannot accept responsibility for a player’s standard affecting the enjoyment of other participants, and refunds will not be issued if a player feels a class is not suitable for their level of play.
- Group coaching classes and Coaching Plan subscriptions are personal to the registered player and may not be transferred, sold on, assigned, or otherwise dealt with.
2. Coaching Plan Subscriptions
- Coaching Plans are offered as a monthly rolling subscription. A £2.50 non-refundable set-up fee applies to all new registrations.
- Coaching Plan fees are payable in advance and are collected based on your registration date. Your subscription will continue until you cancel or we terminate it. Payments will appear on your bank statement as NTATENNIS or NATIONALTENNIS.
- After your first payment has been collected, you may request a change to your payment collection date.
- The coaching programme runs for 47 weeks of the year, with scheduled breaks at Easter (one week), summer (two weeks), Christmas (two weeks), and all Bank Holidays.
- Access to some venues may require a separate venue membership, with fees payable in advance. NTA may collect these fees on behalf of the venue as its agent.
- Coaching Plan fees are reviewed periodically. A minimum of 10 working days’ written notice will be given of any change to payment amounts.
- Players with outstanding payments more than 30 days overdue may have their place suspended and fees recovered by lawful means.
- Coaching Plans may be refused or cancelled by management at any time at their reasonable discretion.
Cancellation
- You may cancel your Coaching Plan at any time by submitting the online Coaching Plan Cancellation Form. Verbal notice is not accepted.
- Following submission, our team will contact you within three working days to confirm your request.
- A player who cancels their Coaching Plan will not be entitled to any refund and will forfeit all associated benefits with immediate effect.
Payment Holiday
- You may request a one-month payment holiday once per calendar year for any reason. A £5.00 administration fee per player applies. Please contact us to request a payment holiday.
Refunds and Class Credits
- NTA does not issue refunds for absences due to illness, holidays, weather conditions or other circumstances outside our control.
- Where classes are cancelled due to severe weather, we will wherever possible offer attendance at an alternative class in place of a refund.
- In exceptional circumstances, where a player loses more than four classes within any two-month period due to severe weather or coach illness, management may at their discretion issue an account credit.
3. Pay and Play
- Pay and play sessions are drop-in group coaching sessions available at selected venues. Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via our online booking system.
- Bookings may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the session start time for a full account credit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time are non-refundable and the booking fee will be forfeited.
- We reserve the right to reallocate a place if a player fails to arrive within 15 minutes of the session start time.
- Pay and play sessions are personal to the registered player and may not be transferred to another person.
- The specific terms, pricing, and availability for each session are confirmed at the time of booking. Additional terms may apply and will be presented at the point of purchase.
4. Class Packs
- Class packs provide a fixed number of group coaching classes at a discounted rate, purchased in advance.
- Class packs must be paid in full at the time of purchase and are personal to the registered player. They may not be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash.
- Class packs are non-refundable once purchased.
- All classes within a class pack must be used within the validity period confirmed at the time of purchase — any unused classes remaining after the expiry date will be forfeited with no credit or refund issued.
- The specific terms, class entitlement, validity period, and pricing for each class pack are confirmed at the time of purchase. Additional terms may apply and will be presented at the point of purchase.
5. Holiday Camps
- Holiday camp places are booked on a first come, first served basis and must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- All children attending junior holiday camps are fully supervised during scheduled session times. We are not able to supervise children outside of scheduled hours. Children must arrive and be collected promptly and must wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for tennis.
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the camp start date will be eligible for a full account credit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable and the booking fee will be forfeited.
- We reserve the right to cancel a camp in the event of insufficient numbers or severe weather — in such cases a full credit or refund will be issued.
- The specific terms, pricing, and schedule for each camp are confirmed at the time of booking. Additional terms may apply and will be presented at the point of purchase.
6. Course Bookings
- Coaching courses are structured programmes delivered over a fixed number of weeks. Course places must be booked and paid for in full at the time of registration.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the course start date to be eligible for an account credit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the course start date, or once a course has begun, are non-refundable.
- No refund or credit will be issued for classes missed once a course is underway, regardless of the reason for absence.
- We reserve the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrolment or circumstances beyond our control — in such cases a full refund or account credit will be issued.
- The specific terms, pricing, duration, and schedule for each course are confirmed at the time of booking. Additional terms may apply and will be presented at the point of purchase.
7. Private Coaching
- Private coaching sessions are arranged and booked directly with an individual coach. All coaches operating at our venues are approved and accredited.
- Private sessions are available to a maximum of two players.
- All coaches operate a 24-hour cancellation policy — sessions cancelled within this period are non-refundable at the coach’s discretion.
- Payment for private coaching is made directly to the coach. We do not accept responsibility for commercial arrangements between players and coaches, including payment disputes or cancellations.
8. Data & Privacy
- NTA is registered as a Data Controller under UK data protection legislation. Personal information about players and children is collected, held securely, and kept confidential in compliance with applicable law.
- Contact details are used for registration-related communications and, where relevant, child welfare matters.
- Your information may also be used for marketing purposes where you have given consent. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us or updating your account preferences.
9. General
- All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, staff, and other players at all times. We reserve the right to remove any individual from our facilities or programmes without refund where conduct is deemed unacceptable.
- We take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment but accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in coaching activities unless caused by our negligence. It is the responsibility of each participant to inform us of any relevant medical condition before taking part.
- NTA reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions on not less than 10 days’ notice, communicated via our website or by direct written notice to registered participants.
10. Equipment & Footwear
- Loan rackets may be available during trial sessions. Once enrolled on a coaching programme, players are expected to provide their own racket.
- Appropriate sports footwear must be worn at all times on court. Strictly no studs, blades, dress shoes, or ribbed-sole running shoes are permitted.
- NTA reserves the right to refuse court access to any player wearing incorrect footwear to prevent damage to the playing surface. No refund will be offered in these circumstances.
