Box Leagues

Friendly, structured tennis and padel played at your level. Box leagues run through the Matchspace app, get placed in a box of similar players, arrange your own matches, and move up as you win.

Why join the box leagues?

You are placed in a small box of players at a similar level, play each other over the league, and the winners move up while others move down, so you are always matched with people around your standard.

• Meet and play with local players at your level.
• Arrange both competitive and friendly matches, in your own time.
• Support your coaching, putting what you learn in lessons into independent play.

Everything runs through Matchspace, a free phone app. You find your league, arrange matches with your opponents, and submit your scores, all in one place.

How to join

Four steps to get set up on Matchspace and into a box league.

1. Download the Matchspace app

Get the free Matchspace app on your smartphone, then open it. iPhone, App Store  ·  Android, Google Play

2. Create your account

Complete your login details to set up your account. When you are asked for a join code, enter the code for your area from the list below.

3. Complete your settings

• Ability level — this does not limit what you can play, so just give your best guess.
• Game availability — let people know when you prefer to play.
• Looking for a hit — puts a green tag on your profile so others know they can reach out for a friendly game. Turn it on or off any time.

4. Find your league and enter

Head to the Feed tab at the bottom of the app and open the box leagues. Select the tennis or padel event you want to join and follow the prompts.

Join codes by area

Padel box leagues currently run in Norwich only. All other areas are tennis.
