We are nearly there, 10x LED floodlit courts and 4x LED Mini Courts will be ready soon at the award winning Swindon Tennis Centre!
With a strong membership of over 1500 players, thriving local tennis teams and an ever more popular coaching programme, the key object of The Centre was to offer tennis to all who wished to play. With only four floodlit courts, this restricted the true potential of Swindon Tennis Centre and it became our key objective to offer the sport to all throughout the year.
After much work we are delighted to say that now every court at Swindon Tennis Centre will be fully floodlit, that’s 10 LED floodlit full sized courts and 4 LED floodlit mini/touch tennis courts! We will be hosting an official open day, The Big Switch On will be on Tuesday 8 November from 4:30-9pm.
The Big Switch On will be a party atmosphere with plenty of food and drink on offer as we celebrate this fantastic upgrade to Swindon Tennis Centre.
The day will be as follows:
4:30-7pm – Free tennis coaching tasters, organised and led by award winning Head Coach Craig Loxton. All about encouraging new players to give tennis a go and anyone of all ages to get back in to tennis or take their first steps on court.
7-7:30pm – The official opening will begin at 7pm with all those who made it possible in attendance.
7:30-9pm – The largest adult doubles matchplay Swindon has ever seen will start at 7:30pm.

Swindon Tennis Centre, part of National Tennis Association, is located at St Marks Recreation Ground in the center of Swindon.
We are the largest park tennis facility in the South West of England and our courts are open to the community every day of the year, between 8am and 10pm.
